Chris Schuhmacher

A young man’s dreams of becoming a rockstar led to drug addiction, drug dealing, murder, and ultimately prison. Chris Schumacher spent 17 years in prison where he overcame addiction through exercise and education. During his last few years at San Quentin, Chris was selected to be part of The Last Mile, an innovative program that teaches inmates computer programming to give them better job prospects post-release. He was released in May 2017 and now lives in the Bay Area where he works as a Software Engineer for FANDOM and aspiring entrepreneur.
