I-Kang Ding is a manager of data science at Capital One, where his work focuses on developing and deploying machine learning models to fight various types of credit card fraud. He has also created inner-sourced Python packages and learning modules including self-directed trainings and in-person courses to empower analysts to more easily automate their work with Python. He had a former life as a bunny-suit-wearing data scientist in semiconductor industry. He originally hails from Taiwan and received his Ph.D. from Stanford University, and currently resides in Washington DC area.
