Meredydd Luff

Meredydd got his start on programming with QBASIC, and is still grateful for how easy it was for a kid to get started. He cares deeply about building accessible on-ramps to programming: He holds a PhD in building usable programming systems, and cofounded Anvil (https://anvil.works), the platform for building full-stack web apps entirely in Python. He has also contributed to the Skulpt Python-to-JS compiler, the Linux kernel, and the MQA audio codec.

In his spare time, you used to find him dancing competitively or flying light aircraft. These days, he stays indoors talking to people who aren’t there.
