Arnold van der Wal

Arnold van der Wal works out of Portland, Oregon, as an independent service provider for the semiconductor industry, currently occupied mostly with semiconductor design and measurement support. Previously he worked for NXP Semiconductors, Netherlands, as a device physicist, developing high-voltage transistors used in products for the automotive industry. His interest in Python began with an urge to reduce time spent in tedious manual labor converting data between non-compatible software applications. Nowadays the fun factor keeps him busy refining and developing tools that promote efficiency and productivity. He holds a Master's degree in electrical engineering from University of Twente, Netherlands.
