Jennifer Slotnick is a Bay Area builder focused on making datasets easier to reuse through practical, human-friendly validation. She’s developing FAIRy, a local-first Python tool that runs “preflight” checks and produces actionable reports to help teams fix metadata issues before handoff or repository submission. Jennifer previously spent 10 years in enterprise software product management focused on integrations, and now works on open-source tools that support reproducibility in research and collections data. With a background spanning bioinformatics and sociology, she enjoys bridging scientific workflows and the human realities of collaboration.
