Description

AI coding agents can dramatically accelerate Python development, but only if they’re used with discipline. This hands-on tutorial shows how to use modern AI coding agents as pair programmers to work with professional-quality Python: fix bugs, write readable code, use existing APIs, write tests, use types, etc.

Participants will learn how to guide agents through a process that discusses intuiting context, executing code, reviewing work, and finally meta-reviewing and improving the process. We’ll work through realistic Python examples, using agents to refactor messy code, add tests, introduce typing, and evolve scripts into production-ready modules.

By the end of the tutorial, attendees will have a repeatable workflow for using AI coding agents to write Python that they would be proud to review, maintain, and ship.
