The majority of Bean’s career in machine learning has been spent on satellite image processing systems for military contractors. Since joining Capital One, he has helped support use cases for Data Profiler and other products, worked on synthetic data generation for model training, and researched distributed training methods, specifically federated learning. Bean received his bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from the University of Michigan Dearborn.
