James Murphy

I am a Data Scientist in Lyft’s Mapping Team where I use Python every day to help us better understand the world we operate in. Before joining Lyft I was a Research Associate at Cambridge University Engineering Department where I researched methods and applications of Bayesian statistical signal processing. I have been using and enjoying programming in Python for a number of years, and I really appreciate its ease of use, its clarity and above all the incredible ecosystem of third party tools that exist around it.
