ROBERTA TAKENAKA

Roberta Takenaka received the Bachelor's degree in Computer Science by Universidade Federal de São Carlos, Brazil, in 1997. Then, she started to work as system analyst/programmer at SciELO (www.scielo.br), a pilot project which proposal was to publish open access Brazilian journals in order to increase the visibility of the National Science in worldwide. Nowadays, SciELO (www.scielo.org) has been adopted by other countries. Roberta Takenaka fell in love with Python in 2008, but only after 2011 she started using Python. She also has work experience in Visual Basic, Visual Basic for Application, PHP, XML/XSL.
