Allison Kaptur is a facilitator at Hacker School, a writers' retreat for programmers in New York City. At Hacker School, she pair programs with participants, helps them get involved with open source, and works with them to increase their mastery of programming. She previously studied Astronomy & Physics at Yale and worked briefly in finance before discovering python and diving into the world of programming.
