Jessica Hamrick

Jess is a graduate student in UC Berkeley's Department of Psychology where she studies computational models of cognition. Jess has used Python since 2008 for pretty much everything, including machine learning, psychology experiments, data analysis, a natural language chatbot, and even a music player based on printing protocols. In her spare time, Jess teaches introductory Python, contributes to open source projects such as IPython, and blogs about random topics (usually pertaining to Python and/or Emacs).
