Hobson Lane

Hobson Lane

Hobson has two decades of teaching and engineering experience in robotics, data science, and natural language processing. Hobson uses Python to build cutting-edge autonomous systems and webapps for businesses, large and small, for-profit and nonprofit--Squishy Media, Building Energy, Sharp Labs, Hack Oregon, Pellego, Intel Labs, and Talentpair. For all of them he insists on not only exclusively using open source tools, but also contributing to open source projects. Hobson teaches these best-practices as a mentor and instructor for Hack University, Springboard, Georgia Tech, FIRST Robotics, TotalGood, and Chick Tech.
