Eric is a long-time Python user. He has been heavily involved in the community and became a Python core developer a few years ago, working mostly on the import system. Currently he works from home for Canonical on juju, a tool that helps take the pain out of orchestrating services in the cloud. juju is written in Go, so working on the project has provided a fresh perspective on the beauty of Python. Eric currently lives in Utah with his supportive family, who otherwise at best tolerate his trips to PyCon.
