Robert has been a consultant, developer, and instructor for Enthought for almost three years. At Enthought, he has written software in Python for consulting clients in the energy industry, worked on tools for Python package management, and taught week-long Python classes for scientists, engineers, and analysts at corporations, government entities, and educational institutions. Before that, he earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and was a researcher in the areas of wireless networking and software engineering, publishing on software-defined radio, rate-adaptation in wireless networks, and the evaluation of instructable software agents.
