Eitan Romanoff

Eitan Romanoff is a graduate computer science student at the Rochester Institute of Technology, a member of its Free and Open Source Software applied research lab - The FossBOX. He is currently working with large Twitter datasets, analyzing several million tweets. His work includes looking for and visualizing trends and relationships on tweets scraped during the presidential debates and election, including tweet language modeling, sentiment analysis, and the growth and decay of tweet trends. A proponent of open source software, he is using Python's Natural Language Toolkit (NLTK) and various statistical analysis software packages for his research.
