Eric Palakovich Carr is a Senior Software Engineer at the Schroeder Institute, a research institute inside the non-profit organization Legacy. Most people don't recognize the name Legacy, but most are familiar with their ongoing smoking prevention campaign called The Truth.

Eric has been a active member of the DC Python community for 4 years, speaking at local meetups #DCPython and django-district. He had a previous life as a consultant, where he wrote software for clients such as ADP and The Washington Post.
