Katherine Scott

Katherine Scott is the Director of Research and Development for SightMachine and one of the lead developers for SimpleCV. SimpleCV is Open Source python library that makes it quick and easy to generate computer vision applications. Ms. Scott has over ten experience performing research and development for the defense and manufacturing industries, with a focus on computer vision, graphics, and robotics. Ms. Scott holds a bunch of fancy pants degrees from major research universities. Ms. Scott is the co-author of, "Practical Computer Vision with SimpleCV," and a few other academic papers.
