Peter is an independent software developer, IT consultant, tinker and pyrotechnician living in San Jose, CA. He's been a software developer for 24 years and using Python for the last 12. Python plays a key role in many of his diverse projects including a motorcycle mounted mobile location and image tracking system, interfacing with robots through a kinect and controlling fire effect systems. In his spare time, he teaches welding, woodworking and kinetics at the Crucible in Oakland, CA.
