Speaker Profile

Eitan Romanoff

Eitan Romanoff is a senior computer science student at the Rochester Institute of Technology, and a newly involved member of its Free and Open Source Software applied research lab. Given his starting involvement in open source, he naturally decided to use python as his weapon of choice for his various projects. Using Django and the Fedora livecd-creator tool, he did work on the Dorrie web application to be able to create custom RIT-themed Fedora Live CDs. His other projects include creating a nice display kiosk, and recently, making a Kivy application using the python-for-android project.
