Christopher Fonnesbeck

Chris is a biostatistician at the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, specializing in Bayesian statistical methods, machine learning, computational statistics and epidemiology. He is the creator and a co-developer of PyMC, a package for Bayesian modeling using Markov chain Monte Carlo methods, and is one of a number of Python developers working toward the wide adoption of Python in statistics. Chris was born in Vancouver, BC but now resides in Nashville, TN.
