Speaker Profile

Ricardo Kirkner

Ricardo is a Software Engineer currently working for Canonical. He started his one-way trip (sorry, no refunds) down the path to Python-bliss around the year 2004.

Since then he made Python his primary tool for both work and pleasure, skimming different areas, from telecommunications and web development to machine learning.

Ricardo has been an active member of the Python Argentina Users group since 2005, shortly after it's inception. He was also involved in the organization of PyCon Argentina 2009, the first spanish-held PyCon in the world.

Ricardo held talks during PyCon Argentina 2009, PyCon Argentina 2010, and PyCon Argentina 2011.
