Larry is, let's face it, a huge nerd. He started programming in BASIC and FORTH in the 80s,and became a professional programmer in 1990. He's a long-time Pythonista--started using Python in the late 90s, and became a core contributor several years ago. He has attended PyCon since 2008, and gave his first talk in 2010.
