Luis Artola has been writing software professionally for 20 years. He currently works as Technology Project Manager for Digital Domain where he has developed over the last 5 years robust software infrastructure and tools to support the production of visual effects. Luis leads a team of developers that write code primarily in Python and PyQt for digital asset management, workflow automation and dynamic software configuration. Over the years, he has developed software for various industries including scientific visualization, gaming, mobile applications and information systems. He has programmed in various languages and platforms over the years. Luis obtained a MSc. in Computer Graphics and Virtual Environment from the University of Hull in the UK, and a BSc. in Computer Systems Engineering from the Institute of Technology and Higher Education of Monterrey in Mexico.
