Toby Rosen grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, and is a graduate of UC Berkeley and Caltech. He worked in molecular biology for several years, but eventually switched to visual effects with a job at Sony Imageworks. At Sony, he became familiar with python, and has used it to code various image manipulation scripts, as well as integrate 3D packages such as houdini with the in-house tool set. He is currently an associate technical director on Men In Black 3.
