Asheesh loves growing camaraderie among geeks. He chaired the Johns Hopkins Association for Computing Machinery and taught Python classes at Noisebridge, a hackerspace in San Francisco. He realizes that most of the work that makes projects successful is hidden underneath the surface.
He has worked for Creative Commons and the Participatory Culture Foundation. As a volunteer, he has contributed code to the UN in Uganda, the EFF, Students for Free Culture, and Debian where he is a Developer. Today, he lives in Somerville, MA, working on OpenHatch.org.
