The author is a graduate student in Computer Science at Boise State University in Boise, Idaho, with a strong focus on cybersecurity. Before beginning their master’s studies, they worked as a DevOps Engineer for about six years in Nepal, where they built experience in CI/CD automation, Linux systems, container orchestration, and cloud infrastructure. During this time, they worked closely with engineering teams to streamline build pipelines, modernize legacy deployments, and improve developer productivity using tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git.
