Veronica Rodriguez Viveros

Verónica Rodríguez Viveros is a technology and product professional with a background in economics and more than ten years of experience in the design and management of digital products in fintech, cybersecurity, and global technology platforms. She currently serves as Senior Product Manager at a technology company in Silicon Valley, where she works on products used by developers and companies in different countries.

Beyond her corporate role, Verónica is the co-founder of a community focused on increasing the participation of people of African descent in technology in Colombia and Latin America. From there, she has led and accompanied training, mentoring, and technical community-building processes, using tools such as Python to facilitate access to digital skills, employment, and leadership in the technology industry.

She is a YLAI Fellow of the U.S. Department of State, an ambassador for women in technology initiatives, and a speaker at academic and community events. Her work lies at the intersection of technology, social impact, and inclusion, with a particular focus on how free software and technical communities can become real drivers of social mobility for historically underrepresented populations.
