Matthew Johnson

Matthew Johnson is a Principal Research Software Engineer with a Ph.D. in AI and Machine Learning as well as almost two decades of experience inventing new technologies that harness the power of Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence, while prioritizing the privacy and security of user data. He works for Microsoft's Azure Research group and is an Affiliated Lecturer at the University of Cambridge, where he teaches AI and Computer Science. His first Python was 2.2, and he is continually amazed by the ability of the language (and its community) to evolve and change.
