Al Sweigart (rhymes with "why dirt") is a software developer, tech book author, artist, and Fellow of the Python Software Foundation. He's written a dozen programming books, including "Automate the Boring Stuff with Python" and "The Recursive Book of Recursion." He is the maintainer of several open source projects, including PyAutoGUI and pyperclip. He enjoys writing software, creating digital art, fostering cats, donating platelets, folding origami, and picking up litter.
