I am currently the Lead Data Scientist at Unified (https://www.unified.me/), a social network for activists and organizers. At Unified, I am building tools to help personalize users' home feeds and enable discovery. Previously, I led a Data Science team at Simon & Schuster focused on identifying trends in the publishing industry. I specialize in civic data. My first job as a data scientist was to cover the 2016 elections as part of Univision's Fusion Media Group's data science team (That was interesting.). I earned my specialization in Data Science online from Johns Hopkins University in 2015. This is my third career (and counting.)
