Maintainers Summit
The vibrant Python open source community is comprised of people with diverse skills and backgrounds. The Maintainers Summit at PyCon US is where the Python community comes together to discuss, learn, and share best practices to develop, nurture, and sustain open source projects and their associated open source communities.
This year we will have a combination of dynamic speakers and short ignite talks where you can share an experience, new tool or lesson learned in open source. We welcome pythonistas of all experience levels to attend, submit talks, and participate in this year's event.
Join us to share your thoughts and ideas and learn from your peers!
Get Excited for Ignite Talks!!!
Do you have an idea that could spark discussion while helping the audience learn something new? Ignite talks are your chance to share it—quickly! Ignite talks can highlight tips, tricks, challenges, and lessons learned that help others navigate open source contributions. Storytelling and personal experiences are welcome as ways to connect with the audience and share impactful lessons learned.
Submit a Talk Proposal Today!
We are currently accepting both 10-15 minute and 5-minute ignite talk proposals for the 2025 Maintainers Summit.
The call for proposals closes on Feb 22nd, 2025.
The schedule will be posted once we have the speakers confirmed. Please check back later!
