Maintainers Summit

Python is much more than a programming language. It is a vibrant community made up of individuals with diverse skills and backgrounds. The Maintainers Summit at PyCon US is where the Python community comes together to discuss and foster best practices on how to develop sustainable projects and nurture thriving communities. Join us to share your thoughts and ideas and learn from your peers!

:: Get Excited for Ignite and Flash Talks ::

Do you have an idea that could spark discussion while helping the audience learn something new? Ignite talks are your chance to share it—quickly! Ignite talks can highlight challenges, lessons learned, and strategies that help others navigate open source. Personal experiences are especially welcome as a powerful way to connect with the audience.

This year, we will also feature an open session where you can pitch a short ~2 minute flash talk. Use this opportunity to spotlight your favorite open source project, a go-to development tool, an open space you're hosting at PyConUS'25, or anything else you think will spark interest of the audience.
