Jelle Zijlstra
Jelle is a biologist who stumbled his way into software engineering. He has been involved in the Python open-source community since 2016 and is a core developer of CPython, typeshed, typing-extensions, Black, and mypy and a member of the Typing Council. He works for Quora as a software engineer. He lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife, two cats, and two chickens.
