Samuel Colvin
Samuel is the creator of Pydantic, a Python library for data validation and serialization powered by type hints which is downloaded more than 120m times a month. He also runs startup (also confusingly called Pydantic) which continues to develop Pydantic as well as building tools and services for Python developers.
As well as Pydantic, Samuel maintains a number of other Python python libraries, including:
- FastUI - a fast but powerful way to build web interfaces with Python, powered by Pydantic
- arq - Job queueing and RPC using redis
- devtools - Python's missing debug-print command
- dirty-equals - doing dirty, but extremely useful things with equals
