A Python enthusiast since 2000. Has taught a beginners Python tutorial in various events in Mexico (Gulev 2003, CONSOL 2004, 2005 and 2006,). Started PythonCabal on June 2010 in Guadalajara, a local Python user group to teach the language and to create community projects.

Likes to use Python at work and in his spare time to solve problems. Developed alsaseq, an extension module that provides ALSA sequencer bindings to Python; arithmetic, a Python module that allows mixing arithmetic operations and text; and xldump, utilities to extract .xls file information to text for viewing or processing.
