I am a first year master's student at UC Berkeley's School of Information, studying UI design, product management, and miscellaneous webappery. I hack on and draw cartoons for Django-based free software project OpenHatch for fun and profit (course credit). Last fall I won 'Most Emotive Commit Messages' at the Berkeley IOLab's Svnnie Awards.

In my past life, I did freelance web design, worked on videos and other new media to promote open access to research, and was a board member and chapter president for Students for Free Culture.
