He has just revised Foundations of Python Network Programming for Apress, and was the final Editor-in-Chief of the now-defunct Python Magazine. For more than a decade he has maintained his PyEphem extension module, which is used by both professional astronomers and amateur enthusiasts around the world. Brandon also coordinates the Python Atlanta user's group.
