Speaker Profile
Matthew J Desmarais
Matthew is a web application developer at the University of Connecticut and a devoted tinkerer.
He got his first job "doing computers" in 1999 as a software test engineer testing embedded avionics components. He wrote his first production Python code in 2002: a script that generated structural coverage reports of ADA programs under test by analyzing a debugger trace.
He's continued to think about testing, particularly structural coverage metrics and analysis, and has added real-time browser communication to his list of obsessions.
