r0ml's Sunday Morning keynote, "The Importance of Programming Literacy", morning was electrifying and addressed problems of Computer Science that span decades or centuries instead of the years and months that we are used to thinking in. r0ml has tentatively agreed to record the talk with slides if we can arrange the logistics and distribution.
I think the best format would be a Video/Audio/Slides webinar that would be made available online for free. The ideas in this talk should be distributed as widely as possible.
I propose that we have a donation fund, (I'll put in $50) to make this happen. The PSF is will to give funding to a solid proposal. Those interested in either helping to fund this effort or volunteering their expertise, please email me at jwhitlark dash r0ml dash video at zentek dot com.
It looks like the thing to do is work with the New York Python Group(s) to host the presentation, and see if either they have AV expertise or find local film students.
