Want to help publicize PyCon?

Download the promotional flyer (PDFs: letter size, or A4 size), print it, and bring copies to user group meetings or conferences. Please note that certain printers, such as inkjets, may not like the slim margins in the PDF files. Either print on a laser printer, or try reducing the print size (zoom).

Suggestions for Other Ways to Spread the Word

In some cases, please coordinate via an email to pycon at python.org so we don't have hordes of people making duplicate contacts. When one of these have been done, please make a note here.

• Post something to slashdot developers?
• Contact presenters from last year?
• Contact companies in the Dallas/Austin/other TX area?
• Contact user groups (Python, Zope, Linux, Apache, and related) in the Dallas/Austin/other TX area? (here are a few that may be interested)
  • DFW Pythoneers
  • DFW Unix Users Group
  • North Texas Linux Users Group
  • DFW Perl Mongers (ha, why not?)
  • Dallas PHP Users Group
  • Dallas Personal Robotics Group (they use Python and other FOSS tools)
