The convention software is based on a number of technologies:

flup/WSGI

Zope
docutils/Re-Structured Text
PIL
matplotlib
cElementTree
Dojo javascript toolkit

Django

Many of the core apps are written in django. We need help on everything from basic documentation, utility code, processes refinement and simple django model/form work; to some very advanced django extensions. We have our own custom middleware, template loaders, context processors, user model extensions, and some cool site wide apps like SiteFeatures ? for controlling views from the admin. There are custom tags, filters, form processors and a full ReST ? template system with validators. Almost every means of extending django is used. We even have a template loader for PHP! (um... well the wiki uses PHP so there wasn't much choice there).

The details will be worked on when we get closer to the actual convention. We are currently working on the software now! We are actively looking for volunteers to help out the PyConTech initiative.
