  • Before the conference:
    • Read the gnupg documentation.
    • Generate a key
    • Print out several copies of your keys fingerprint.

  • Verify the printed copies
  • Bring at least one, and preferably two, forms of ID to the keysigning party. The gold standard is to bring a drivers license and a passport.
  • After the conference:
    • Sign the keys
    • Send the signature to the person whose key you signed and/or submit to the keyservers
