Items Needed for PyCon 2007

Department heads can list items here that they will need and people who can get them (particularly free) will list what they have available.

If you can provide any of these items, please put your name (and email!) next to it. If you know something is needed not on the list, then add it.

General Supplies

• Paper-cutter (for cutting ballots at the PSF meeting)

A/V Supplies

• laser pointers for loaning by session chairs to speakers and then afterward, for gifting to the session chairs for volunteering
• sub-miniature audio splitter for sharing audio feeds with Kurobox recorders and Gus's video camera.
• a pair of simple DVD players for some talks and also to use in the evenings without tying down/guarding someone's laptop for playing movies; players are not expensive. (Bill Chipman)

Open Space

• 10 2' x 3' or 7 3' x 4' bulletin boards
• White index cards (we have 300)
• Colored index cards (we have 100)
• static dry erase sheets
• Dry erase markers
• Push pins (we have 300)

Registration Area

• new Epson CX 5000 injet printer/scanner/copier
• Printer paper
• Pens, markers.
• We have a Mac G3 tower on loan from Brad Allen
• We will need a display monitor, keyboard, and mouse for the Mac tower
• A few cases of bottled water (for speakers and session chairs)

Sprint Rooms

• table cloths over the rough wooden tables we get for sprinting

Kiosk PCs

• We have three Kiosk PCs? donated from OMS last year
• We have one 23" CRT monitor on loan from Brad Allen
