Volunteering:
Pycon 2011 Volunteer Signup
Here's where you can match your talents & interest to a on-site volunteer role. Volunteering at Pycon could possibly be the greatest thing you will ever do. Ever!
How to volunteer
Just edit this wiki page. Include your name and email address in the spot you'd like to volunteer for.
In general, the things we're going to need people for are:
- Registration desk volunteers
- Swag bag stuffers
- Session Staff
- Tutorial day help
- Electrical cord tapers / untapers
- Last minute helper mob
- Network Setup/Teardown
How To Show Up
Check in at the Registration Desk. Also, remember to follow http://twitter.com/pyconvolunteers (see below).

Network Setup/Teardown
Some small networking setup will need to happen late the night of the 8th for tutorials.
A lot of help (10 or more people) is needed for running cables and setting up switches and APs the night of the 10th, before the main part of the conference.
Then some small effort to remove or move gear the afternoon of the 13th, and some more the evening of the 17th.
Please include your name, your email address, and when you plan to help out, along with any notes (like when you get to the hotel). Thanks!
