Mr. Jim Hugunin (Microsoft) bio
Jim Hugunin is the chief architect for the Dynamic Language Runtime (DLR) on .NET. Prior to joining Microsoft, Jim built a prototype of IronPython to show how well Python could run on .NET. Since then, Microsoft has released a 1.0 and a 1.1 version of IronPython and is now building the DLR to enable many more dynamic languages to run great on .NET. Before IronPython, Jim worked at Xerox PARC as one of the principal designers of the AspectJ language and tools. Way back in the distant past, Jim was the creator of Jython, one of the first and still one of the most popular scripting languages for the Java platform.
