Hotel Shuttle Bus from O’Hare Airport
The hotel provides complimentary transportation to and from nearby O'Hare International Airport 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The shuttle bus runs every 15 minutes from 6:00am to midnight, and every 30 minutes between midnight and 6:00am. To take the shuttle from the airport, you should make your way to the Hotel Shuttle Bus Center:
- Go to Terminal 2. (Actually, the shuttle/bus center is sort of in between terminals, so it's most optimal to find an overhead sign pointing to shuttle/bus center and follow that, but if you're lost, starting at Terminal 2 is fine.)
- Take the escalator down to the baggage claim area.
- Go down the stairs from baggage claim, walking down the pedestrian walkway.
- Take the elevator going up to the parking lot and make a right going around the wall. (Do not go out the doors into the parking lot).
- Go to Door 2 and wait for the Crowne Plaza O’Hare Hotel shuttle bus (raspberry red color).
To ensure a faster pick-up between midnight and 6:00am or if you arrive in the International Terminal, please use the courtesy telephone near the baggage claim area to inform the hotel of your arrival.
Directions
The Crowne Plaza Chicago O'Hare offers a nice PDF brochure of their services which includes detailed directions to the hotel on its second page, and Crowne Plaza website directions.

Public Transit
The hotel can be easily reached via the El, Chicago's public train system. Take the Blue Line towards O'Hare to the Rosemont stop (second to last). Once you exit the station you turn left immediately, then turn left (south) on River Road, walk under the overpass, walk 3 blocks (half a mile), past the convention center (big huge thing) and the hotel is on the other side of the road (it has a blinking red marque that may say something about PyCon.) You will cross Bryn Mawr Avenue. If you reach Higgins Road, you went the wrong way.
